The maisonbleau is a new gite complex in the heart of Fontainebleau, just minutes away from the major climbing and walking areas of the trois pigon and the magical Fontainebleau forest.
We are located in a small village called herbeauvilliers just 3km from the Buthiers Massive and 20 km from Fontainebleau.
The easiest way to get here, is to follow the A6 in the direction of Lyon, and take junction 14 Malesherbes. Follow the N152 for 10km until you enter the village of mainbervilliers. 100 meters into the village there is a left turn sign posted herbeauvilliers, take this and follow it to the end until you reach the
T junction, our house is right opposite the junction. But the gates are located 100 meters on the left if you take a right turn at the T junction
- We are only a 2 minute drive from Buthiers, for climbing, walking and mountain biking.
- Only 5 minutes away from the local shops of Malesherbes, were you can find several big supermarkets, petrol stations, cafe's and restaurants.
- There is a local market on Wednesday morning.
- A 20 minute car ride will take you to Fontainebleau itself,
- Under ten minutes you will find yourself and the massive of Dame Jouanne and L'Elephant
- The main climbing areas of Franchard, Cuvier, and Trios pignon are between 10 and 20 minutes drive from the house.
